Baytree Behavioral Health

Baytree Behavioral Health was founded on the principle of making the highest quality, nationally research-based clinical interventions available to local and regional clients at a cost they can afford. Founded in 2003 by Scott Fairchild, Psy.D., a retired U.S. Army Clinical Psychologist and graduate of the University of Denver, Baytree Behavioral Health (BBH) has rapidly become a market leader in developing and delivering a variety of confidential and discrete clinical healthcare services.

Under Dr. Fairchild’s leadership, Baytree Behavioral Health quickly evolved into a group practice model, which served a diverse mix of clients through a multidisciplinary staff for 19 years. Dr. Fairchild built the foundation that BBH is built on and developed relationships with a number of doctors, offices, and organizations that allowed the practice to have the stability, growth, and staying power that it has for nearly 20 years.
In 2022, Dr. Joseph Walden acquired the practice and wants to carry forward to goals established under Dr. Fairchild’s ownership and continue to build and gear the practice toward specializing in the military population. Veterans continue to experience health disparities, lack of access to mental health care, and alarmingly high rates of suicide. Baytree Behavioral Health’s mission is to reduce disparities, increase access to mental health care, and reduce rates of self-harm. Our commitment to you will be to provide you with the highest quality services to support your decisions to improve your life.
We fully understand the benefits of medical, spiritual, educational, and psychosocial interventions. Our services are provided with respect for diversity, religion, gender, gender identity, age, and sexual orientation. Our providers abide by the code of ethics of their respective professions and by the laws of the State of Florida and of the United States of America.
